Combining Photography and Writing
I cannot remember where I saw it, but recently on someone's blog, they were discussing the use of photography as inspiration for writing. I am still hoping to find it, but even if I don't, now that I am looking, there are many people doing this already who are willing to share their thoughts about it.
I am wanting to write a picture book length story about a family camping. I will never forget the day I took the picture of this little scamp. We had just walked away from the table over to the fire area and this chipmunk raced over and got ready to have a sip of my daughter's cocoa. He ended up nose down in it with only his tail sticking out. Unbelievable. That is one of the photos that may help me with a story this week. I think I may pass through our photo albums to see if we captured any other camp scenes that may help me draft my story.
